2009 MEXICAN LIBERTAD .999 SILVER ROUND

by on 2011/05/22

My favorite silver coin so far! 1 oz of pure .999 silver. 2009 MEXICAN LIBERTAD .999 SILVER ROUND Info: These Mexican 1 ounce coins are made of 99.9% solid silver (LEY .999). They feature a winged liberty on the front (obverse) and a collage of small eagle designs that were used on past Mexican coins on the reverse. This artistic coin design was minted starting in 1995 (after the ONZA silver coins were made).

That s a pretty design! I just wish the premiums weren’t quite so high on some of the prettier foreign coins. =^[.]^=

Yea its a beautiful coin. Its my favorite! It just has a great design….(side note I checked out your video on q.s.b and they have some great low prices on the rounds! most definitively be purchasing some of the genetic Morgans)

Hey sunburstgold…I’ve been seriously thinking about buying a couple of the Libertads. Mostly because I really like that design. As a bullion buyer I only buy the generics. But the Libertad’s have a thing about them that I like. Both the Obverse and Reverse. I certainly like the design better than the other government rounds, with maybe the exception of the Austria Philharmonic :>)
